As weird as it sounds, people are more likely to listen about how harmful drugs and alcohol are when appearance is mentioned. Excessive drinking can cause: weight gain, dry and dull skin, broken capillaries, brittle hair and nails, and premature aging. The use of marijuana can cause weight gain. Cocaine is known to cause sores and scratches, and pale, unhealthy looking skin. Heroin can cause weight loss, premature aging, bluish skin and nails, along with abscesses, track marks, and sores and acne. Meth is also known to cause weight loss, tooth decay and accelerated aging.
