Depression can be found in every culture. According to an article by Sophia Boyd on NPR news in Milwaukee, study's have shown that Latino's who are U.S born have double the rate of depression than their immigrant counterparts, this is because they are more involved in the American culture. For example, some immigrants can live in America for 20 years yet still barely know English, but most of their U.S born children learn English as one of their primary languages growing up.
